Junk Jellyfish

As part of their EYFS Seaside Day we provided a junk jellyfish workshop at Malin Bridge School. Each child in EYFS experimented with a range of different materials (fabric, wool, bubble wrap, pipe cleaners, foam sheets and felt) to create their own jellyfish. During the activity they were developing their skills in listening, following instructions and creative expression, aswell as improving fine motor skills. Each child was then able to see their creation as part of a visually exciting, communal display in the entrance hall.

We also created an Edwardian style head-in-the-hole cut-out where the children were able to have a keepsake photo taken.
