We have just finished a Dragontastic two weeks at Malin Bridge School working with 150 KS1 children to create five enormous and fantastic dragons, in preparation for World Book Day next week. The children built the skeletons using willow withies and masking tape, this was then covered in wet strength tissue paper, followed by coloured tissue, spikes, teeth, wings, etc. We think that they look amazing and can’t wait to see them flying in the hall!
